✅ Here’s a list of what we can do for you as part of the video editing service:

Clip Selection

  • Reviewing and selecting clips from a folder of clips (or a single long video) is considered labor-intensive and will use up your subscription day(s) for non-design/video editing work.

  • Depending on the number of clips or length of raw footage, this may add days to your turnaround time.

  • Providing time stamps or pre-selecting clips will help speed up the final delivery of your video request.

Color Correction/Color Grading

  • Simple corrections or gradings that do not require rotoscopy.

Transitions Effects

  • Visual effects are how videos move a scene from one video clip to another.

Titling/Subtitling/Captioning

  • Processes of displaying text on the video to provide additional or interpretive information.

Voice-Over Syncing

  • Process of synchronizing a voice recording over video footage in a cohesive manner.

Video Clipping/Trimming

  • Process of removing a section of a video by cutting in two places, lifting out the middle section and combining the leftover video back together.

Video Template Editing

  • Process of editing a video template with new content and/or creating a new video template from scratch.

Soundtrack, Audio, and SFX Addition

  • Adding music and/or sound effects into the final video.

    • Note: Custom audio files must be provided.

Aspect Ratio Update

  • Adjusting the aspect ratio to suit standard/professional formats such as 4:3, 16:9, to ensure suitable viewing across universal platforms. Includes standard aspect ratios for social media.

Format Adjustments

  • Conversion of one video format to another, for example, MP4 to MOV.

Footage Matching

  • Manipulation and editing of different video footage so it will look cohesive in the final project.

Video Stabilization

  • Eliminating jitters and blurriness provides cleaner and smoother footage.

Audio, Sound, and Music Editing

  • Designers can cut and stitch audio, but they won’t edit the audio properties (eg: volume, background noise removal, changing pitch of voiceover, audio conversion to another format, applying special effects to audio, gamma manipulation, etc).

Chrome Key Cleanup

  • Chroma Key removal/cleanup done with Premiere Pro or After Effects.

Motion Tracking

  • Process of tracking the movements of an object within a scene.

Time Remapping

  • Manipulation of time remapping on Premiere Pro or After Effects to generate visual effects such as:

    • Time-lapses:

      • Slow Motion

      • Frame Freezing

      • Speed Ramping

4K Videos

  • Deliver industry standard 4K Video editing, including all of the Scope Samples.
    Resolutions:

    • 3840X2160p

    • 4096X2160p

Format Conversion, Encoding, and Compression

  • Conversion of one video format to another, for example, MP4 to MOV.

How is Video Editing different from Motion Graphics?

Video editing or (Live Action Video editing) is the process of manipulating actual video footage to create a new, edited video. This can include modifying, rearranging, trimming, or manipulating an unedited video file. Video editing differs from motion graphics, which is more about adding motion/animation to digital graphics. It is common for videos to include motion graphics overlaid on top to create a more engaging final product.

Will my designated designer be my video designer?

This could be the case, but it is not guaranteed. We have a select group of designers who will be assigned video editing requests, which means the assigned designer could be someone who isn’t your Designated Designer.

How do I provide the best possible request for video editing?

Provide your designer with clear instructions to follow, scripts to use, and timestamps on where in the video you want to be edited. You can also share the audio/music files you'd like added to the request.

How long is the turnaround time for a video editing request?

It typically takes 2-5 business days to complete a 3 minute video. However, this timeframe can go up or down depending on the video's complexity and type of project, or if you have other higher-priority requests in your queue.

All your submitted requests (including Video Editing requests) will be placed in your request queue and will be worked on according to your queue priority order.

What if I want a different file format? (Other than default file formats)

If you would like a different format, you can request it, but it is not guaranteed that we will be able to deliver. Please ask your creative team if it's possible to do so within our scope.

Where do I request revisions?

You can use our Feedback Tools in the platform to annotate the video exactly where you have revisions or comments on the video format.

Can you add motion graphics to my video?

Yes. If the designer assigned to your video editing request does not have motion graphics skills, then the request will be endorsed to a motion graphics designer to handle the motion graphic animations.

What is the maximum length of the video you will create?

The maximum length of the video file to be delivered is 10 minutes for short-form videos (eg: Tiktok clips), and 30 minutes for long-form videos (eg: YouTube videos). You may submit longer videos, but the delivered file will have a maximum duration of 10 or 30 minutes.

Can you work on descriptive subtitles under Titling, Subtitling, or Captioning?

Yes, as long as the text is provided.
