Duplicating a request can save you loads of time, especially for recurring tasks, seasonal projects, or small tweaks to previous requests.

Pro Tip: Once you duplicate a design request, be sure to update the details of your duplicated request!

This will speed up the turnaround time by avoiding the back and forth with your creative caused by unclear request instructions.

1. Through Your Request Queue

  • Click on the three dots on the right side of your request in the queue, and select Duplicate

  • If the request is archived, open the Archived section to select and duplicate it.

2. Within Your Request

  • Click on the three dots on the upper right-hand side of your request's page, then select Duplicate

Note: Your duplicated request is automatically linked to the original, so your designer can see its origin.

1. Rename The Title

  • By default, the word "Copy" is added to the end of the duplicated request's title, identifying it as a duplicate.

  • Rename the title to avoid confusion.

  • If you prefer the original title, remove "Copy" and add the current date

    • (e.g., Your Request Title + Updates + Date)

2. Check Version Folders & Assets

  • Delete outdated assets, upload new ones, or include additional images from our stock libraries.

3. Update The Instructions, Copy, & Attachments

  • Update Key Details: Review and update details such as request type, sizes, formats, and brand profile. Use the annotation tool for new updates.

  • Remove outdated instructions: Inform your designer of any changes to ensure clarity (e.g., “Change this ‘xxx’ to that ‘yyy’.”)

  • Highlight Priorities: Emphasize important elements or instructions to guide your designer.

  • Review Previous Feedback: Ensure the new request addresses any feedback or revisions from the original request.

  • Clear Communication: Add a brief message explaining significant changes as a guide for your designer.

By following these best practices, you ensure your duplicated request is clear, updated, and accurately reflects your needs, saving time and avoiding back-and-forth clarifications.
