Use this guide to connect Design Pickle with Slack. Follow the steps below to install it and set everything up for smooth communication!
Note: You must be subscribed to a Pro, Premium, or Power plan and have a valid integration key to be able to use The Design Pickle Slack APP
Head to your Profile Settings
Scroll down to the Slack Integration section and click the ‘Add to Slack’ button to get started.
On the top-right corner, select a workspace to install the app.
Then, select a public channel, then click Submit
Note: If you select a private channel, you will need to complete an additional step. You will see two messages in Slack:
One confirming that you’ve added an integration to the channel
Another notifying you that the app's bot has joined the channel
For private channels: You will only see the first message. Proceed to the next section (Configuring Your Slack App) in order to receive the second message and complete installation.
Things To Note:
The channel you select will be the one where all interactions from Design Pickle take place, including messages and notifications.
If you need to switch to a different channel, simply repeat the process and choose a new one—notifications will be sent to the updated channel.
One integration key applies to the entire workspace. This means that other users will be able to use commands on behalf of the user whose integration keys are set up
If you do not see the message that an integration has been added to the channel, contact our Support Team.
For private channels only:
