Managing multiple brands within Design Pickle is easy with Brand Profiles. But in order to create a Brand Profile, you must already have an existing Brand Guide!

What is a Brand Guide?

A brand guide is a document that contains all the specifications on everything that plays a role in the look and feel of your brand. As long as you provide a clear design brief, our creative team will be able to create a brand guide for you.

A good branding guide consists of the following, all provided by you:

  • Brand story

  • Logo guidelines

  • Color palette

  • Typography and fonts

  • Graphic elements

  • Imagery

Pro Tip

If you’re unsure what to include in your Brand Guide, the following guide great starting point: How to Create a Complete Branding Guide

How to add a Brand Guide

Step 1:

Once you're logged in, head to the navigation bar on the left, and click Brands. You can go to "My Brands" to add your own Brand Profile.

Note: Only account Admins and Managers can add new brand profiles, so if you don't see the Brands section, ask your account admin to give you permission by changing your user role on their end.

Step 2:

Within "My Brands", click New and fill in the information on the form—a window will pop up and you will be able to input the brand name and target audience and include a more elaborate description of your brand.

Step 3:

Click Save Brand to save!

Attaching Brands to Your Requests

Once you've created and saved your brands, you can attach them to your design requests through the submission form.

You'll find a drop-down menu allowing you to select which brand you'd like to send with your request. It's not a required field, so if you don't have a brand you'd like to submit with the request, you can leave the field empty.

Best Practices

Here are some additional suggestions to set your designer up for success when creating your Brand Guide. These can be uploaded in your Design Request under Supporting Materials.

  • Have your logo and brand concept clearly defined

  • Create a mood board for your brand

  • Add brand guide inspirations

  • Share reference images

  • The more concise details you share with your designer, the better!
