Asset Management

Asset management is key to a smooth design workflow, which is why the Design Pickle Platform includes Asset Management - a convenient feature that helps you organize, reuse, and track creative assets in one place. It lets you easily:

🔁 Reuse Existing Assets

Easily locate and reuse files you've already used—logos, templates, illustrations, or any previous asset—by attaching them to both new and existing requests.

📁 Centralize Your Files

No more digging through old requests one by one. Every file is searchable and accessible in one library.

🔍 Organize and Search

Use filters and tags to sort your assets by project, updated date, or approval status. You can even save filtered views to revisit later and browse through your collection of approved assets.

HOW TO

Use Asset Management

1. Access your assets

Scroll down to the bottom of the page to find the Assets section in your Request Queue. Here, you'll see all your uploaded and generated assets organized as individual cards.
Click on See All to view more of your assets.

2. Use the toolbar for asset actions

Use the toolbar or overflow menu on each asset card to:

Add assets to a new or existing request
Download or export files
Mark assets as "Approved"
View details

3. View Asset Details

Click View Details on any asset card to open a side drawer with a larger preview and file info. From here, you can:

Copy the file link
Download, export, or mark the asset as approved
Add it to a new or existing request

4. Bulk Actions

Select multiple assets to perform bulk actions, where you can:

Download, export, or mark as approved
Add to a new or existing request

5. Search and Filter

Use the search bar to locate assets by name or tags. You can also filter by project, approval status, or last updated date. Save your search to quickly access filtered views later.

Head to the Search section in the global header, which is located at the top of the platform's page.
Type in your keywords and hit Enter on your keyboard.

5. Add Assets to Multiple Requests

You can add the same asset to more than one (new or existing) request. The system automatically duplicates the asset to ensure each version stays tied to its original request.

6. Upload Assets To Your Request

You can upload new assets to a request, but we encourage reusing assets from your existing library whenever possible to keep things organized and efficient.

Here's how:

Step 1: Click Upload Assets
- In your request, click the Upload Files button.
Step 2: Choose from Existing Assets
- By default, you'll land on the Local Assets tab.
- Here, you can browse and select assets that already exist in your Design Pickle asset collection.
Step 3: Or Upload from Your Device
- If you'd like to upload a new file, switch to the My Device tab.
- Select the files you want from your computer.
Step 4: Click Upload
- Once you've selected the assets you need—whether from your library or your device—click Upload to add them to your request.
