Sometimes after submitting a request you realize that you need it more (or less) urgently than when you submitted it.
Changing the priority of an in progress request
Priority can only be changed on requests that your designer hasn't started work on. If you have a large amount of requests currently in progress and need to prioritize those, there a couple of ways to do so:
- First, reply to your weekly or daily queue update with your preferred priority list
- Alternatively, a quick note to your designer about which requests you'd like to tackle first would also do the trick! Send your note in to firstname.lastname@example.org or submit it via the Jar form.
Changing the priority of a new request
I'll walk you through how you can change the priority of design requests you've previously submitted.
First, use your mouse to hover over the Past Requests option in you Jar menu and click on the New Requests option from the drop-down menu:
This will bring you to a screen where you will only see your current active requests:
Next you need to click on the name of the request you want to change the priority on.
This will take you to the revisions screen where you can now adjust the priority of your requests.
Select the new priority you want to give your request from the drop down menu and then click on the update button.
Voilà! Your design request is now reprioritized!
